OVERVIEW

This 8-week, 2-hour per week course is limited to 10 people, so we can really work on honing your skills together. You'll learn the basics of being an advertising art director, learning the fundamentals of design, imagery, and motion and how to apply them in a constantly changing media landscape. More importantly, you'll learn how to define your point of view and direct your vision to bring it to life.

Homework

Each week you'll have an exercise and we'll discuss your work in class to make sure you're applying the principles you're learning.

Your instructor is Dave Haller, a Creative Director at Major who has been art directing for global brands like Coca-Cola, Smirnoff, Toyota, Samsung, ASICS, Goose Island, W Hotels, Showtime, Verizon, Wild Turkey, Guinness, and Red Stripe.

He's also the co-author of Handbook for Hacks.
